Born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 25, 1922, Johnny Smith’s technique is legendary. He will be best remembered for his 1952 hit of "Moonlight in Vermont". His harmonic solo on the bridge was groundbreaking. Mr. Smith was one of the first guitarists in the fifties to have enough chops to compete with the saxophonists and pianists of the time.
This book is easy to read, fun to play and sounds cool. Good practice for reading and developing single line solos. There are chord changes so you can practice with another person
or your looper.
