JAZZ TUNES FOR IMPROVISATION - Dan Haerle, Jack Peterson and Rich Matteson for use at University of North Texas improvisation courses. Book and CD. - copy
These original jazz tunes are based on typical chord progressions found in many jazz standards, and were developed by faculty members of the University of North Texas for use in their improvisation courses. This is very cool and well played by Dan Haerle, Jack Petersen and Rich Matteson, however, the piano is slightly out of tune so the overall pitch is a little flat. If you don’t have perfect pitch and don’t mind tuning your guitar a little flat, you will have a lot of fun playing with these great players.
