Jack and band

CD - 1973. Fans of Jack will find his first recording interesting. The band was putting jazz, rock, blues, classical, and anything else together to create a powerful electric hybrid. Even though this band was a contemporary of the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Miles Davis’ Electric Bands, it was original and not derivitive of the other music of the time.

Now in 2003, this album has been released on CD for the first time after being out of print for 30 years.

Jack Grassel - guitar, Dave Shostac - saxophone and flute, David Philips - bass, Andy LoDuca - drums, Dennis Klopfer - keyboards.

Nine tunes written by members of group: September First, Morning Peace, Santa Claus is Coming, 99 Quarter Notes, Count to Seven and Boogie, Fresh Linens, November Twentieth, Jungle Rot, Bare Bottom.

Remastered in 2004 by Firebird Studios.
